Ecosystem

Living organisms and their abiotic environment . Examples :grassland , woodland, rocky sea shore and bog.

Biosphere

The part of the Earth where organisms can live

Niche

The role of an organism in an ecosystem

It might be the activity period that one species has, say a morning feeder, that separates it from competition of another species, say an evening feeder.

Example 1:

Owls and red-tailed hawks live in the same habitat but owls hunt for mice at night and hawks hunt for mice during the day

Example 2:

Each of these birds live in the same habitat but each feed in a different way and therefore are not competing for the same food
